Are we heading toward one-person companies with AI teams?
I keep wondering whether the next generation of companies will look very different.
Instead of:
1 founder
+ 5 early hires
agencies
freelancers
lots of SaaS tools
Maybe it becomes:
1 founder
AI employees
a few human specialists when needed
AI can already help with research, copy, code, landing pages, outreach, reporting, and campaign ideas.
The missing layer is coordination: who decides priorities, who tracks work, who connects the outputs, and how the founder stays in control.
That’s the direction I’m exploring with Operaitor.io — an AI company simulator where you manage AI employees, give commands, run board meetings, and review execution.
Do you think one-person companies with AI teams will become normal?
Or will founders still need human teams earlier than people think?
