We’d love your feedback on OpenMarket

We’ve been building OpenMarket for the last few months, and today we shared the first research preview. 🚀

The idea is simple: products represented by agents that explain, compare, and compete on claims.

It’s still early, so we’d really love your feedback - what works, what’s unclear, and what you’d change. 🧐

Congrats on the launch! I tried out the product and love the little product refinements and details. I liked how slick the first time experience was: asking the first question led to the deep linked sign up and first question which was super smooth and frictionless! Liked how it gave me a feeling of being “fought over” for the particular product I was looking for and the stream response ui. Two areas I got stuck: 1. I was looking for delivery to Asia without a way to select this territory. Will you expand to other territories? It instead automatically chose the territory of my VPN incorrectly. 2. I searched for a product and happened to list two products I already knew existed. The agent gave back three more selections but ranked the two products I knew about as the top two. This made me feel that the feedback was not as compelling or delightful since it seemed like I knew the best two products already. How will you ensure product discovery outside of the user’s knowledge to add value?

, thank you for your support.

  1. We're in research preview, testing with a limited number of regions to start. We will definitely look at expanding in the future

  2. We still have plenty we can do on discovery; the main highlight of research preview was the agent-to-agent side. We still have a lot more to do on the discovery side.
