What would make email open tracking actually useful for you?

by

While building OpenDot, one thing became clear: knowing that an email was opened is useful, but the real value is knowing what to do next.

So I'm curious how other people actually use this information.

When you send an important email through Gmail, what matters most to you?

• Knowing when it was opened

• Knowing how many times it was opened

• Tracking link clicks

• Getting a real-time notification

• Seeing engagement history

• Something else entirely

I'm especially interested in hearing from people who send quotes, proposals, sales emails, or client follow-ups.

What information would actually help you decide when to follow up?
