openDeck is a free, open-source alternative to the Elgato Stream Deck, built for creators, developers, and anyone who wants powerful control without expensive hardware. Turn your desktop into a fully customizable control deck for streaming, shortcuts, and automations. With profiles, macros, and an open plugin marketplace, you can build, share, and extend functionality to fit your exact workflow.

Hey everyone 👋 I built openDeck because I wanted the functionality of a Stream Deck without having to spend £200+ on hardware. Most existing options either lock you into a device or limit what you can actually customise. I wanted something fully flexible, software-based, and open — so you can control your streams, apps, and workflows directly from your desktop. openDeck lets you: • Create custom layouts and profiles • Trigger macros and automations • Control your stream or apps in real time • Extend everything through an open plugin marketplace The plugin system is a big focus — anyone can build and share plugins, so the tool can evolve beyond what I originally imagined. This is still early, and I’d really value feedback — especially from streamers, devs, and anyone using automation in their workflow. If there’s something missing, clunky, or just doesn’t make sense, I want to hear it. Appreciate you checking it out 🙌
