maker here. Got a new MacBook, spent 3 hours setting it up, still forgot my git email. Built OpenBoot to fix that. It's a TUI — run it, pick your tools, it handles packages, dotfiles, shell, macOS settings. The thing I didn't expect to matter: openboot snapshot gives you a URL of your whole setup. New hire runs one command, gets your exact environment. That's become the main reason people use it. macOS only for now. MIT, zero telemetry. What's your current setup process?
