by
A lightweight, private, open source Windows utility that keeps your session active. No telemetry, no accounts. Prevents sleep mode, screen lock, and away status by simulating imperceptible mouse movements — the cursor returns to its exact position every time. Includes work schedule, lunch break window, system tray icon, and optional autostart. Single .exe, ~6 MB, no runtime needed.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built OpenAlive because my work PC kept locking itself during long meetings and focus sessions — and every "solution" I found was either bloated, filled with ads, or required admin rights. So I wrote a single .exe in Go: no installer runtime, no telemetry, no accounts. It moves the cursor by a configurable pixel offset and returns it to the exact position — completely imperceptible. You can also configure a keystroke (Shift, F13, ScrollLock and more) alongside the mouse movement. Added a work schedule, lunch break window, 8 languages, and system tray support. That's the whole app. Happy to answer any questions!
