What’s the most frustrating part of texturing in Blender?

by•

Hey everyone, I’m Khazar, the maker of Open Painter. It’s a free, open-source 3D texturing tool inside Blender, and we’re getting ready to launch.

Before talking about features, I’d love to hear about your actual workflow.

When you’re texturing a model, where does the process become frustrating? Setting up materials? Managing layers and masks? Getting believable wear? Moving between applications? Or something completely different?

Tell me about the last asset you worked on and the part that took more effort than it should have.

You don’t need to have tried Open Painter to answer. Understanding what’s difficult in your current workflow is just as useful.
