YouTube gives every video a thumbnail. Olwaty gives the whole series a page.
YouTube gives creators a title and thumbnail to market each video. But a connected series needs a way to show why its whole story is worth starting.
That’s what we’ve added to Olwaty.
The new Series Gateway Page gives every series a customizable marketing page before episode one.
Creators can use:
• A highlight video
• Scene posters
• A written introduction or story context
Together, these turn discovery into a reason to watch, then lead the viewer directly into episode one.
Discovery → Series Gateway → Episode 1 → Immersive series viewing
Once a viewer starts, the redesigned mobile player shifts from discovery into an immersive, full-screen viewing experience. The series structure stays connected in the background while the interface gets out of the way.
The gateway is built for choosing. The player is built for staying.
We’re also measuring series performance differently. Views show how often an individual video was watched.
For a series, we focus on:
• Total watch time
• Series completions
• Shares
These show whether viewers spent meaningful time with the series, finished it, and found it worth passing on.
YouTube remains where the videos play. Olwaty adds the marketing, viewing, and measurement layer around the complete series.
The current version is live in Korean. We’d love to hear how you would use a page like this for your own series.
