Okwunzuzo - Messaging with control over timing, access and expiry
by•
Okwunzuzo gives you more control over what happens after you send a message. Schedule its release, hold it for manual release, use a cooling-off period, edit it until it is opened, replace its contents using the same link, let recipients open when ready, or set it to expire or self-delete. Built for messages that need more thought, flexibility or control than ordinary messaging provides.

You know that moment when you send a message and immediately think, “Maybe I should have waited”? 😅
Or you send some details, something changes, and you’re back with: “Please ignore my previous message.”
Then something changes again and suddenly it’s: “Please ignore the updated message.”
Moments like that are exactly why I created Okwunzuzo.
Okwunzuzo lets you write a message once, then share its link through WhatsApp, email, SMS or wherever you normally communicate. The recipient doesn’t need an account.
You can give yourself a cooling-off period to rethink your words, schedule a message for later, or keep it hidden until you’re ready to release it.
Need to make a correction? Choose a mode that lets you edit until the first opening — or keep updating the message behind the same link, even after it has been opened.
And because the right time to send isn’t always the right time for the recipient to read it, Open when ready lets recipients postpone opening and set a reminder to return.
You also decide how long access lasts: withdraw the message, set an expiry, or have its contents deleted after a chosen period following the first opening.
For the emotional message you want to think through, the announcement you’re preparing ahead of time, or the details that keep changing — there’s Okwunzuzo.
I’d love to know: which of these situations would make you reach for Okwunzuzo instead of your usual messaging app?
