What usually makes you stop tracking your meals?

One thing we noticed while building Nutree is that people usually do not quit because they do not care about health. They quit because tracking feels like too much work.

Searching foods, estimating portions, typing every meal, and interpreting numbers can get tiring fast.

Curious to hear from you: what usually makes you stop using nutrition or calorie-tracking apps?

Do you prefer nutrition apps to give numbers, advice, or both?

With Nutree, we are trying to make nutrition feel less like a spreadsheet and more like a helpful daily companion.

Of course, calories and macros matter. But many users also want a simple answer: Is this meal okay for my goal? or What should I adjust next?

What do you personally prefer: detailed numbers, simple guidance, or both?

What would make healthy eating easier to turn into a habit?

We are building Nutree around daily habit loops: scan a meal, track water, log activity, see progress, and get small guidance without guilt.

For you, what would make a nutrition app worth opening every day?

A better progress screen? Smarter reminders? Meal suggestions? Less manual logging? Something else?

We’re trying to make nutrition tracking feel less judgmental. What should we avoid?

A lot of health apps make users feel like they failed when they miss a goal or eat something imperfect.

We want Nutree to feel supportive instead: more confidence, less guilt.

What kind of language, design, or features should nutrition apps avoid if they want to help users build a sustainable habit?

What should NutreeAI improve first after launch?

We are still early and would love honest feedback from the community.

Which area should we improve first?

  1. Faster meal scanning

  2. More accurate local food recognition

  3. Better habit/progress tracking

  4. Smarter meal suggestions

  5. Better water/activity tracking

  6. More personalized guidance

What would matter most to you?

Nutree - Not another calorie counter

Nutree is different because it turns nutrition tracking into a daily habit loop, not a one-time calorie log. Users scan meals, track water and activity, and see progress in one simple flow. The AI reduces manual logging and gives supportive guidance, helping users stay consistent with healthier decisions every day.
