I built this because I was tired of asking "how do I get this file from my phone to my laptop?" A browser extension version would be really handy so I can send files straight from a webpage without downloading the file first and then re-uploading it through the site.

The peer-to-peer approach sounds great for privacy, but it would be super helpful if you added a room code or link option so I can send files to someone who isn't nearby on the same network, like a friend across town. Right now it seems like both devices need to be on the same wifi for it to work smoothly.
