Six years after the initial launch, I'm excited to launch NSFW Filter V3! NSFW Filter is a free, open source, and privacy-focused browser extension that blocks NSFW content using AI. Everything runs inside your browser, and no data is sent anywhere. The V3 version adheres to the latest Chrome Web Store policies and includes a faster, more capable model and a completely rebuilt interface. We have also added new features our user group has requested over the years. And as always, this will be free and open source. Forever.

Does the AI model update on its own over time or would I need to manually pull new versions to catch up with evolving content trends?

 We plan to use better models as we have them. Right now, the model is pretty stable and does not need frequent updates.
