NoteSide - Notes that know where you are

byβ€’
Hey PH πŸ‘‹ I built NoteSide after getting frustrated with notes that had zero context by the time I found them. It's a Mac drawer that saves notes to wherever you are β€” a URL, a file path, or an app. Switch context, notes switch with you. All Notes view jumps you back to where you saved them. No cloud. No account. One time $5. Took me 3 months solo. Hope you find it useful!

Built this out of my own frustration. I'd be deep in research, jot something down in a notes app, and by the time I found it again the context was just gone. The note meant nothing without knowing where I was when I wrote it. So the idea was pretty straightforward β€” notes that just stay where you are. On a site, in a folder, in an app. No tagging, no organizing, just open it and it's there. Took me 3 months to build solo. Started as something way simpler but the system-wide drawer across browsers, Finder, and apps is what made it actually useful. The All Notes view came later and ended up being one of my favorite parts β€” click a note and it takes you back to exactly where you wrote it. Use it every day. Excited to see what you all think.
