Notchwake - Your Mac's notch, turned into a useful island

Notchwake turns your Mac's notch into an island. Hover it and it opens: what's playing, your next meeting, a tray you can drop files on, a timer, shortcuts, and your Claude Code sessions, where you can allow or deny a command without leaving what you're doing. No account, no telemetry, nothing sent to a server of mine. Native SwiftUI, light on battery, works on Macs without a notch too. 7 days free, then $12.99 lifetime or $1.99/month.

Hi, I'm Victor. I made Notchwake because the notch on my Mac was just sitting there. Hover it (or press Option+Space) and an island opens: what's playing, your next meeting, a tray you can drop files on, a timer, shortcuts. When it's closed it still tells you what's going on, like a track changing or a Claude Code session waiting for you to approve a command. A few things I was strict about: - No account, no telemetry, no server of mine. The few optional network calls (artwork, weather, lyrics, update check) are listed on the privacy page. - It never approves a Claude Code permission on its own. If you don't click, the terminal asks you as usual. - Every feature can be turned off, and a feature that's off doesn't run. On my M5 it sits at about 0.2% CPU and 47 MB idle (one machine, your numbers will differ). It's native SwiftUI and AppKit, macOS 14 or later, and it works on Macs without a notch too. 7-day trial with everything unlocked, then $12.99 lifetime or $1.99/month, one license for 2 Macs. I built it with a lot of help from Claude Code, and tested every change on my own Mac before shipping. What would you want the notch to show you?
