After opening northr.ai to early users, I spent the last days listening and iterating.

A few things became clear quickly:

– typing everything slows people down

– plans need to remember what didn’t work

– review has to feed directly into the next week

So I shipped a few improvements:

• Voice input across onboarding, planning, and reviews

• Smarter suggestions that factor in previous reviews

• Stronger connection between quarterly, monthly, and weekly focus

• A cleaner mobile experience for quick check-ins

What hasn’t changed:

No streaks. No gamification. No guilt.

northr.ai is still free forever for early users until Jan 15.

If you’re curious what I should improve next, I’m especially interested in what feels unclear or unnecessary.

Hey there.

Started using the tool a couple of days ago and when I came back today: everything except the yearly planning are gone. The quarter view that was not working previously now works. Kinda cool. Weird to be asked to review my last quarter since I signed Jan 2nd.

Since your last update, additionally to the data loss, the month view fail silently to load. No error in the console. The week and day are locked🔒 for some reasons.

No contact info to provide feedback, and both Privacy and Terms page are 404 :/

Other than that, I really liked the iterative experience so far. ADHD here, not a fan of rigid system, can't stick with it on the long run, so pretty intrigued.

@thibault_milan  Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback - it means a lot, especially from someone who resonates with the ADHD-friendly, non-rigid approach we're building.

First: I'm really sorry about the data loss. That's unacceptable, and we've been working on it since your message came through. We identified the issue (a migration gap affecting users who signed up around Jan 2nd) and have already shipped a fix to prevent it going forward. We're also reaching out to affected users with recovery options.

On the specific issues you mentioned:

  • Month view not loading - we're investigating this now

  • Week/Day locked - this happens when there's no monthly focus set (which ties back to the data loss issue)

  • Privacy/Terms 404 and No contact info - resoolved already

The quarterly review prompt on day 4 is admittedly a bit odd - that's a timing logic we need to refine.
