Why we ditched generic "Sleep Scores" for rolling Sleep Debt
by•
Most sleep trackers give you an arbitrary score out of 100 based on overnight movement or heart rate, but they don't answer the most critical question: How much biological sleep do you owe your body, and how do you pay it back safely?
With Nod, we focused strictly on a rolling 14-night window to calculate net sleep debt and build mathematical recovery schedules.
Questions for the community:
How do you currently track or handle sleep deficit after a rough week?
Do you find single-night sleep scores helpful, or do they just trigger sleep anxiety (orthosomnia)?
