I built NikkoSets because I got tired of watching people pay to study their own flashcards — I mean, they're already paying thousands in tuition, why add an extra fee on top of that? Education is already hard enough. The tools shouldn't be the barrier. I'm one person. No VC, no team, no budget. Just a belief that knowledge is earned, not purchased, and that a free platform could genuinely compete with the big names if it was built right. Today is day one of that fight. We already have kana drawing, lessons, flashcards, mastery mode with spaced repetition, streaks, and collections to organize your sets — and we're just getting started.
