NFX Reset - Reset Netflix shows to Episode 1 with a single click. 🍿

by
Netflix makes it surprisingly hard to truly "reset" a show. If you want to rewatch a series, you’re often stuck with "Next Episode" spoilers, or you have to manually delete your history line-by-line in hidden settings. NFX Reset is the "Undo" button Netflix forgot to build. It injects a native-looking "Reset" button directly into the Netflix UI, allowing you to wipe playback progress for any title instantly. No more skipping to the credits or fighting the "Continue Watching" row.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m the creator of NFX Reset. I built this because I’m a chronic 'comfort-show rewatcher.' Every time I wanted to restart a series like The Office or Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Netflix would spoil the ending by jumping straight to the credits of the last episode I watched years ago. The 'official' way to fix this involves digging through account settings and clicking 'hide from viewing history' dozens of times. It felt like a chore, so I automated it. NFX Reset is a tiny, open-source tool that adds a simple Reset button to the Netflix interface. It handles the API calls to clear your progress so you can enjoy your favorite shows from the very first second again. I’ve just hit my first 37 users and I’m looking for feedback on: - UI/UX: Does the button feel natural to you? - Edge Cases: Are there any regions or layouts where the button doesn't appear? - Features: What else should a 'Netflix Power User' tool have? I’ll be here all day to answer questions. Thanks for checking it out! 🍿
