The fine line between a publishing OS & a CRM
by•
Hi,
Looking at "Publishing OS" as a new category of software I'm wondering the following:
Will working on the CRM worsen our positioning? Is it someone else's territory?
The mission of Nashra is turning followers into clients. Mainly for experts.
We do this right now by making publishing a breeze:
Posts, articles drive trust
Landing pages pitch something
Lead generation pages brings in subscribers
But I imagine our CRM doing more
1-Click AI contact enrichment.
2- Send emails to a single person or by selecting a few
Would help with the mission, but might confuse people on our category?
Any positioning experts can help us?

"honestly i'd lean toward keeping the crm features but framing them as "what happens after publishing works" rather than a separate thing. like the posts/landing pages get the trust and subscribers, then the crm stuff is just the natural next step for converting those into actual clients. positioning confusion usually comes from launching the new stuff loudly as its own pillar, not from the feature existing. just my 2 cents as someone else figuring out positioning solo lol
