Hi everyone, I'm Nakshatra, founder of N&D Co., a small web design and SEO agency in Kolkata.
RankGuru was one of the tools on our old site. We rebuilt it from scratch as a free page on our new one.
Give it a page address, or paste the page's HTML, and it runs 13 on-page checks: title, meta description, main heading, heading order, canonical, robots meta tag, mobile viewport, page language, image alt text, links, structured data, social preview tags and amount of text. Results are sorted into To fix, Worth a look and Passed. Add up to three competitor pages and it lists the words they use that your page doesn't. Everything exports to CSV.
It runs in your browser. There's no server behind it, so we never see what you check.
The limits: most sites block other sites from reading their pages (CORS), so for those you paste the source instead. It reads the HTML before JavaScript runs, checks one page at a time, and doesn't track rankings.
