I did not start with a company idea. I started with a problem I kept seeing again and again. For over 7 years, I worked with African students trying to study locally and abroad. I helped many students with admissions, scholarships, and visas by hand. At first, it looked like students just needed better guidance. But over time, I realized the real issue was the system itself. Students were not failing because they were not good enough. They were failing because the process was confusing and disconnected. Admissions, exams, scholarships, and visas all work separately, but each step affects the other. If a student makes one wrong decision, like choosing the wrong school or submitting weak documents, it can cost a lot of money and time, and they may still fail. After helping thousands of students and securing millions in scholarships, I reached a limit. I saw that this problem cannot be solved by human effort alone. It is not just a people problem. It is an infrastructure problem. That is how MySCU started. At first, we tried to improve the service. We gave better counseling and more support. But this did not solve the main problem. It only made the system a little better. Then we changed our approach. We started to see the process as one complete system. Instead of just helping students apply, we built a system that helps students make the right decisions before they apply. We created a flow where students first understand their profile, then get matched to the right schools, then fix any gaps, and only after that apply and prepare for visas. Over time, the product became a system that learns from every result. Each acceptance, rejection, or visa outcome helps improve future decisions. Instead of reacting after failure, we now try to prevent failure before it happens. This launch is the first version of that system. It is not just a service. It is a platform that makes a complex and risky process more clear, structured, and reliable.
