MYSA - Empowerring Business Growth

MYSA, short for MY SALES ANALYTICS, is a platform that connects digital marketers, eCommerce businesses, and entrepreneurs with logistics firms and self-delivery agents. It aims to provide a seamless end-to-end delivery model for all parties involved, helping to manage and track orders at every stage of the process. By using MYSA, businesses can avoid missing orders and reduce the difficulties associated with tracking orders via WhatsApp or other means.

What inspired you to build this? My inspiration came from lived experience. I started selling physical products online in 2020 and quickly ran into a wall not with marketing, but with operations. I was managing orders through WhatsApp groups and makeshift spreadsheets, losing track of deliveries, dealing with disputed orders, and watching customers lose patience. At one point, the chaos nearly pushed me to quit entirely. What kept me going was the belief that ecommerce could be a sustainable, long-term income source — but only if the operational side worked. When I discovered that the same problems existed across multiple African markets (Ghana, Kenya, and beyond), I realized this wasn't a "me" problem. It was a structural gap in the industry. That realization is what inspired MYSA. What problem were you trying to solve? Most ecommerce marketers in Africa especially those working with third-party logistics companies — have no proper dashboard or order management system. Around 70% of logistics agents still rely on WhatsApp groups or basic spreadsheets. This creates serious problems: untracked orders, missed deliveries, accounting errors, disputes between agents and marketers, and ultimately, lost revenue. MYSA solves this by acting as a bridge between marketers and logistics companies giving marketers a centralized, automated platform to track orders, manage deliveries, and run their business without the daily chaos. The goal is simple: let marketers focus on growth, not firefighting. How did your approach or process evolve while working on this launch? My early instinct was to find an existing tool that solved this problem. I searched extensively social media, forums, word of mouth and came up empty. The "industry standard" was still WhatsApp and spreadsheets, even for more established players. That's when I shifted from looking for a solution to building one. I consulted with marketing and logistics professionals, mapped out the key pain points (order tracking, agent accountability, real-time updates), and designed MYSA around those specific needs. The product evolved from a simple order tracker into a fuller operations platform one that doesn't just organize logistics, but gives marketers the visibility and control they need to actually scale.

@oluwatobi_akomolafe Tobi has on several occasions shared with me the burden associated with having a holistic view of orders, deliveries, remittances, order completion, and related processes. I have seen him go through several iterations of solutions to address this challenge, particularly for his personal use. As it progressed, he incorporated the idea of bringing the solution to a larger audience experiencing the same challenge.

I admire the level of intentionality and doggedness that has gone into this project. Well done, Tobi.
