👋 Hey Product Hunt! I built Mutube because I kept wasting hours on YouTube — scrolling through Shorts, recommendations, and comments instead of watching the content I actually needed. Mutube is a simple Chrome extension that hides distractions: Shorts, comments, likes/dislikes, video descriptions, and the endless recommendation sidebars. What’s left is just the videos you really want to see. Unlike other “focus tools”, Mutube is lightweight, privacy-friendly (no tracking, no data collection), and fully customizable — you decide what to hide. I’m most proud that this tool actually helps me save 1–2 hours daily and makes YouTube a real productivity tool, not a procrastination trap.
