Git-native REST client and API testing in VS Code. YAML .mmt files in Git — same files in CI via testlight.

Hey Product Hunt — I’m Mehrdad, maker of Multimeter.
I built this because I wanted API testing that lives in Git like code: YAML .mmt files you edit in VS Code/Cursor, then run the same files in CI with testlight. No cloud collections, no account.
What’s in this launch:
HTTP, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSocket
Visual editor ↔ YAML sync
Optional MCP (npx -y mmt-mcp) so Cursor/Claude can scaffold and run tests

Open source (Apache 2.0)

Extension: search “Multimeter” in VS Code / Open VSX
