I'm constantly getting HTTPS errors and don't know why. It shows bad SSL certificate for every secure site I've visited. Strange :(
Csaba Kissi
Caused by Avast, you have to disable scan of SSL in Avast web shield. I have to say, it's really fast, unfortunately missing my favorite extensions there like Toby.

Is there an "Open in Firefox" plugin for Chrome?
Chuck Kahn
So far I've only found opein in/with Firefox from Chrome plugins that work for Windows, not Mac.

@chuckkahn What are you trying to achieve here?
Chuck Kahn
@arunsathiya looking for a shortcut to open pages and links in Chrome for Mac in Firefox for Mac.
Nay Thiha
@arunsathiya @chuckkahn You can open links in Chrome or Safari in Firefox with this extension http://pilotmoon.com/popclip/ext... screehshot: https://screenshots.firefox.com/... I usually open links in Safari in Chrome with this extension.
Chuck Kahn
@arunsathiya @naythiha_ but popclip works by highlighting text, no? What if the link isn't written out as text but is embedded in an HREF= HTML link? I've never used popclip, just looking at the website.

Maybe in two or three versions it will work, but right now, it's better as an idea than as a browser to use every day.

Pros:

Looks nice in the video, potential is there

Cons:

It broke everything I liked about firefox: I've customized to the nth degree and not one of my extensions worked with quantum, ugly ugly.

TBH, I don't see it live up to the marketing hype. There's also a bunch of other stuff that's kinda buggy: - Moving a browser window from a retina display to a non-retina external monitor causes the entire page to re-render in 2 seconds. When you move Chrome windows, you don't even notice the re-render. - Font rendering is a little strange. Most fonts appear thicker in Firefox. - SVGs also seem to have a slight difference, Chrome seems to render them better - The addon market seems very limited? Am I missing something or did Firefox have a pretty large marketplace before this? This isn't to say that it's a major improvement over old versions of Firefox. I just think the marketing hype may be a little misleading.

Is it just me, or is my Firefox still slow? I was prepared to move to Firefox after importing bookmarks from Chrome and added most of the extensions to the browser, but it seems a little slower than Chrome. Is it just a caching issue or something?

Very fast! Loving it. But then there is Safari which blows everything out of the water.

@basicgravity I have never given importance to Safari all these days. Anything specific that you like about Safari?
Suganthan Mohanadasan
@arunsathiya If you use Apple devices it plays along nicely with each other and speed is just fantastic. I've tried the new FF and I think its great but I still think Safari is a little bit better.

I'm ok to wait my browser if in the end page will look good. https://imgur.com/a/Salge

Love how Mozilla did a complete 180 on Firefox. Funny how I jumped from Firefox to Chrome... and now it seems like I'm ready to breakup with Chrome, and go back to Firefox.

Pros:

UI, Speed, Feature Packed

Cons:

None yet

For the only issue why I didn't migrate to FireFox is the developer tools which is very weird! the styling elements and debugging JS is much difficult than on chrome
