Questions, Feedback & Ideas for Motionly

by

I wanted to start a discussion for anyone who watched the demo or tried Motionly.

The GIF attached shows a short animation that was first drafted by an AI assistant and then refined inside Motionly. The goal isn't to generate a final video, but to generate an editable project that you can continue working on visually.

I'm still actively developing Motionly, so I'd love honest feedback from different perspectives.

Some questions I'd love your thoughts on:

  • Does the AI-assisted workflow make sense?

  • Would you use Motionly for product demos, advertisements, social media content, feature introductions, or something else?

  • How does the editor feel? Is there anything missing from the workflow?

  • If you've used tools like After Effects, Remotion, or Hyperframes, what would make you switch or at least give Motionly a try?

  • What features would make this genuinely useful in your day-to-day work?

I'm also looking for contributors who are interested in graphics programming, animation systems, rendering, editor development, or just improving the overall user experience.

Whether it's feature ideas, criticism, bug reports, or technical discussions, I'd love to hear it. Every bit of feedback helps shape where Motionly goes next.
