Why I built an AI panel directly inside After Effects

Hey everyone! I'm Neyko, the solo developer behind Motion Design Agent AE.

Every day I was switching between After Effects and Google/ChatGPT dozens of times — searching for expressions, techniques, workflow tips. It completely broke my creative flow.

So I asked myself: what if the AI was directly inside After Effects, like a real native panel?

That's exactly what I built. No browser tab, no copy-pasting. You ask, it answers, and if you're connected via CEP it can even execute actions directly in your composition.
