Mornio - The alarm that checks you actually stayed awake

by
Mornio is an alarm that checks again after you dismiss it, helping you avoid falling back asleep. It adds Wake Check barcode dismissal, a follow-up stay-awake check, backup protection and automatic restart. Requires iOS 26.1 or later.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Mornio for a very specific problem: hearing your alarm, turning it off while half asleep, and waking up much later than planned. I did not want to build another complicated sleep tracker or an alarm filled with random challenges. I wanted one focused wake-up flow: 1. Choose a QR code or barcode away from your bed. 2. Scan it when the alarm rings. 3. If you silence the alarm without scanning, Mornio brings it back. 4. A few minutes later, Mornio checks that you are still awake. Mornio is built for iPhone using Apple’s AlarmKit. It requires no Mornio account, contains no ads, and does not track users. This is the first public version, so I would especially appreciate feedback on: • The onboarding experience • Choosing a useful scan item • The stay-awake check • Anything that feels confusing or unnecessary Thanks for checking out Mornio. I’ll be here throughout the launch day answering every question.

Finally an alarm app that actually gets it. Liked that the re-check kicks in after you silence it, that part alone makes it worth trying.

Thanks, ! That re-check was the main reason I built Mornio because stopping an alarm and actually staying awake are two different things. I’d love to hear how the complete scan-to-stop and stay-awake flow feels after you try it.
