When is smartphone app required?
App is required only for preparing the features of your Modo Cube, once done you don't need it anymore*
*unless you want to make other edits or you want to sync time instead of the automatic time sync which requires WiFi.

What can be customized?
Depends on the face you are customizing: mainly colors, fonts, images, plus feature-specific parameters; creativity is the boundary!
You can also select which faces are available on the device (only a subset for example) sorted the way you prefer.

What media can be shown?
Modo Cube supports the display of JPG, PNG and animated GIFs from your smartphone gallery.

Where to install app?
App runs on iOS and Android smartphones.

Can my edits be shared with others?
In-app you can pack edits as "presets" and share them: these can then be imported in-app.

Is it 3D printed?
The shell of Modo Cube is completely 3D printed using FDM technology with a proprietary industrial material.
