The website I was trying to check has a context (that string after the slash, e.g: example.com/context) and it simply strip that off, so it got a 404. How can I check my page like that?
Hey , very cool site and cool tips as well. Plus a good funnel to get people to sign up on Hubspot ;) I'm having a little issue tho, on one of my clients site, , it tells me the mobile site is 30/30, responsive etc...which couldnt be further from the truth (we're revamping that of course) Just thought you'd know there might be some tweaking to do. Cheers!

Hi Nicolas. Thanks for the feedback! Correct, we won't always get this right because without us physically looking at the site, it's very hard to tell if it's responsive or not. We essentially guesstimate by checking if a meta viewport exists and by looking at styles on the page (plus one or two other checks).
Woot!! 100% for , i'm a better web developer than I thought I was! I liked the speed of the tests, and you did help me catch some errors on , overall I think the feedback was good, its a nice tidy upper. Will follow it for new features
I remember using this tool few months/years back and I must say it has now become a seriously useful tool! My website gets 87 - and I am sure there are things to improve. Interestingly, Google.com also gets 87 - Not fan of the scores but the recommendations are definitely useful!
Neat tool. My only feedback is re. sitemap. What if your website is just a one-pager? I don't see a point in needing a sitemap in such a case, but it still hurts your grade in this tool. :)

Thanks for the feedback tobu. Perhaps that's correct, but it would be hard for us to guess that the sitemap isn't required and so we leave the check in at all times.

Great design and all around awesome product. Great job Dharmesh! Not sure if others have mentioned this but it would be great to see how many backlinks a site has connected to it. Keep up the great work.
