👋 Hi Product Hunt! I'm Susmita, and I built Mitra because I wanted a desktop companion that was actually useful—not just decorative. Most productivity apps interrupt you with notifications. Most desktop pets are cute but don't really help. Mitra tries to be both. She quietly lives on your desktop, reacts to what you're doing, reminds you to stretch or drink water, and stays out of the way when you're focused. Everything runs locally, there's no tracking, and the project is completely open source.
