MindType - On-device voice typing + zero-retention AI meeting summaries

I built MindType because I wanted voice typing without uploading my voice anywhere. Most dictation tools require a cloud connection for transcription — your audio goes somewhere. MindType does transcription locally on your device using Whisper. Offline. No uploads. For AI summaries (dates, decisions, tasks, risks from your meetings), you need an internet connection — transcript text goes to an AI provider. You can use MindType Cloud credits (routed to zero-retention providers) or bring your own keys (OpenAI/Google/Anthropic). We don't store your audio, transcripts, or summaries.
