What is your relationship with "Overwhelmed" buttons in productivity apps? ðŠī
Hey Product Hunt community!
I am launching MindFlow in 21 hours!
When building MindFlow, I realized that modern productivity apps are often clinical, sterile, and pressure-inducing. If you fall behind on a task list, the app judges you. If you get distracted, you feel guilty.
I wanted to build the absolute opposite: a sensory, tactile sanctuary. One of my favorite features is a floating button that stays visible at all times: "I'm Overwhelmed". Clicking it instantly pauses your day, initiates a deep breathing guide, and plays calming synthesized ambient soundscapes (like rain mixed with binaural beats).
I'm curious:
1. Do you think modern productivity tools focus too much on output, and not enough on the maker's mental well-being?
2. How do you handle workspace overwhelm, and would you use a built-in "pause" button?
Let's discuss! ð
