I built Mimo to remind me to be 100% present in the moment. As a mom 2, a wife, a full-time software engineer, and an entrepreneur with lots of life side quests, Mimo reminds me to slow down and give my full attention to where I am and who I'm with.
How it works
Presence Modes. Pick what you're about to do: Morning Ritual, Deep Work, Fitness, Family Time, Mindfulness, Wind Down… Start it from the app, a widget or a schedule, and put the phone down.
Quiet the apps that pull you back. With Screen Time access, each mode can quiet the apps you choose. There's always an exit: one tap brings them back.
Do it together. New in 1.1: invite friends over SharePlay. Everyone's Mimo sits on one cushion, and one Start begins it for everyone. Great for studying together, or phones down at dinner.
Mimo grows up. Finished modes earn XP. Mimo grows from Kitten to Senior and takes on a nature from the modes you use most, and its colour grows in little by little.
Also available on iPad. with a layout made for the bigger screen.
What Mimo never does No streaks to lose, no sad cat, no "you missed a day". Nothing interrupts a mode. No account, no ads, no analytics: Mimo never sees which apps you use, and your moments stay on your device.
