UPDATE - Next steps: selection, timeline, and pre-sale info

Hi, Product Hunt!

Just wanted to add to in his thread, from all of us on the team, thank you🙏. The support we got from this community yesterday genuinely changed something for us. We're still smiling about it (and yes, slightly recovering from a small celebration last night 😄).

Here's where we are right now and what to expect over the coming weeks:

  1. On the Founding Member applications

We received so many applications that we honestly weren't prepared for it... in the best way possible. The challenge now is that we only have 50 beta samples available, so we can only welcome 50 of you into this round.

We're spending the next few days carefully reviewing every application to choose the final 50. We want to make sure this beta cohort represents the kind of diverse use cases that will help us build a better product.

  1. What happens next week:

  • Selected Founding Members will be notified by email

  • Applicants who didn't make it into this round will also be notified by email and we'll be processing the refunds of your $5 deposit

If you applied and didn't make it into the founding member program: we still want you to be part of the journey. We'll be offering a very generous early-bird discount on Memoket Gem when our pre-sale begins in June. We will notify the community here and by email.

  • Early June — Founding Member units begin shipping to selected beta testers

  • Late June through July — Public pre-sale opens with early-bird pricing

  • August — Mass production complete and units begin shipping to all pre-sale customers

I appreciate the transparency and communication! Congratulations on the number of applications you received. Looking forward to the June release:) I am know this product will help make my work and life more efficient. I am constantly typing notes, meeting minutes, and ideas in Google docs, Freeform, and Notes--looking forward to having it all in one place. Plus, eliminate the need to manually type all "my stuff" in to save it for later.
