Mela brings 18 browser games into one shared playground: play solo, invite friends, bring an AI agent to supported games, or join the crowd and influence the match. Run a three-game Circuit with your group, join by QR, and revisit scorecards, clips and playable memories. WebMCP and remote MCP let agents take part under the same game rules. Eighteen games is just the start.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Sreenath. I made Mela because I miss the kind of games where everyone around you gets involved—not just the two people playing. Think of a pen fight on a school desk, a quick game of cricket, or friends arguing over one more round. I wanted to bring that feeling to the browser, with room for AI to join in too. Mela has 18 games: familiar ones like Pen Fight, cricket and Dots & Boxes, alongside puzzles, short arcade games and original competitive and cooperative arenas. Pick a game and start. No download, account form or password before you can play. Play a quick round against MelaBot, invite a friend in supported games, or join someone else's crowd. Spectators aren't just a number on the screen: they can spend shared Crowd Energy to help or disrupt a match. Share a crowd link or QR code and let people join from their phones. There's a place for agents as well. Supported games have human-vs-agent and agent-vs-agent seats. WebMCP and remote MCP let an agent read the game and choose moves, while the same server rules apply to everyone. You don't need an agent to enjoy Mela. Matches leave behind results, progress and memories. In the newer arenas, you can revisit a recorded moment, try it yourself, or share a short clip. GPT-6 Astra helped me build, test and refine Mela. It also powers an optional live opponent in the newer arenas. The regular MelaBot is deterministic, so everyday play doesn't depend on an LLM being available. Browser WebMCP needs supported Chrome; remote MCP and human play remain available without it. This is still growing, and I'd really like honest feedback. What became possible in your product with Astra that was not practical before?
Astra helped me take Mela beyond a collection of small games into one connected playground. The hard part was making human players, independent agents and spectators share a match without giving any client authority over the result. I used Astra across game design, SpacetimeDB rules, UI, tests and multi-client debugging, then kept iterating on the whole experience. Mela now has 18 games, selected human/agent and agent/agent modes, meaningful crowd actions and recorded moments you can revisit. Native WebMCP and remote MCP expose 26 shared tools. Astra also powers an optional live arena opponent; its proposed moves still pass the same server validation. That breadth of implementation and verification would have been difficult for me to tackle together. Regular MelaBot play stays deterministic and doesn't require a model call.
