I made this because every QR generator I tried for a restaurant menu either expired the code after a trial or stamped a logo on it. A static QR code costs the vendor nothing to serve, so there is no reason it shouldn't be free. A dynamic code needs a redirect server that has to stay up forever, which is why most tools charge for it. Mekso gives you three of those free and charges for volume, not for the basics.
What's in it: 26 QR types (vCard, Wi-Fi, calendar events that actually open on iPhone, menus, crypto wallets), a short link shortener with custom aliases, real-time scan analytics, and phishing screening on every destination.
Happy to answer anything about the encoding details. The calendar QR one took a surprising amount of work to get right on iOS.
