Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm YeonHa, the maker of Meetup Buddy (벙개벙개 — Korean slang for a "flash meetup"). I built it from a personal place. I kept wishing for three things: • someone nearby who shares the same hobby as me, • company when I'm tired of eating or drinking alone and just want someone to enjoy it with, • and sometimes, just a light, low-pressure chat — nothing more. So Meetup Buddy is built around spontaneous, hyperlocal meetups: • Find or start a meetup near you in ~30 seconds. • Every meetup gets its own chat room where you sort out the details without leaving the app — #vote on the spot, #split the bill, #map the location, plus a few mini-games for fun. • Interest groups, friends, and 1:1 DMs for when you just want to talk. • Trust-based manner scores, reporting/blocking, and minor-safety controls to keep it friendly.
