Hi everyone 👋
For centuries, mathematics was written with pen and paper. Then most of our writing moved to keyboards because typing is faster, easier to organize, easier to search, and easier to share.
But mathematics never fully made that transition.
When I need to write a quick equation in a note, an email, a document, or while following a lecture, I often end up searching for symbols, opening insertion menus, copying characters from old documents, or switching into an equation editor.
These interruptions are small, but they happen constantly.
I started wondering what a keyboard would look like if it were designed specifically for mathematical writing.
That question eventually became the Mathematical Keyboard: a compact wireless keyboard with direct access to mathematical symbols, Greek letters, and scientific notation.
It is not meant to replace LaTeX, Typst, or equation editors. The goal is simply to make everyday math writing faster and more natural.
I'd love to hear what you think, and I'm happy to answer any questions about the product, the development process, or the challenges of building a niche hardware product from scratch.
