This happens once a month, 12 times a year — top 3 on the monthly board earn a score bonus that weekly rankings don’t give you. And June’s board is at a level we didn’t expect:
Simple, Normal, and Hard mode are packed with players tied at maximum scores, ranked only by who got there first. Extreme mode has 8 players — all at 761, the highest score achievable. Players from Hong Kong and Taiwan have pushed this leaderboard to its absolute ceiling.
Top 3 spots are decided by margins this thin. One more battle, one second earlier, could be the difference between the podium and fourth place.
