I built MatchShot because I had boxes of old photos I wanted to recreate today. same angle, same framing and every app I tried made me do the hard part (alignment) *after* I already took the shot. By then it's too late; you're cropping and hoping. MatchShot flips that: the reference photo lives as a ghost overlay on your live camera. You line up the shot before you press the shutter, so the new photo is already matched to the old one. No warping, no re-editing, no losing pixels.
