We built Mark because millions of people already write every day.

The internet currently is optimized for pics, reels, ragebaits, and tiktoks.
Expression via writing slowly disappeared unless you were already famous.
Mark is our attempt to make expression via writing creative, inclusive, cool and social again.
Every day, everyone gets the exact same scene or a prompt.
You have just 300 characters to respond.
You can choose a quote, dialogue, a line from a book, short poem, micro-story, or your original thought.
The fun isn't only writing creatively to match the constraints. It's reading hundreds of completely different perspectives to the same scene.
Some will be hilarious.
Some heartbreaking.
Some make you wonder how two strangers looked at the exact same situation and saw completely different worlds.
Building Mark taught me that constraints make people more creative, not less.
