MakerPrice Web - Calculate true 3D printing costs in your browser

byβ€’
MakerPrice calculates the true cost of a 3D print. It factors in filament usage, electricity, machine depreciation, and labor. Previously available only on mobile, this new web version brings full quoting capabilities to your desktop workflow. Features include printers, material, shipping presets, and offline support (PWA).

Hi Product Hunt! πŸ‘‹ I built MakerPrice because I was tired of guessing if my 3D printing hobby was profitable. After launching on iOS and Android, the #1 request was for a desktop version for serious quoting work. MakerPrice Web includes: ⚑ True Cost Calculation (Power, Labor, Depreciation) πŸ“¦ Material & Printer 🚚 Shipping Calculator πŸ’Ύ Offline Support (PWA) It’s free to use. Let me know what you think!

Congrats on bringing this to the web! As someone who dabbles in 3D printing, I can definitely relate to underpricing projects because I forget to factor in electricity and machine wear. The PWA approach is perfect since you can use it right at your desk while packaging orders. Does it handle multi-material prints, like when you're using support material that costs differently from the main filament?

@easytoolsdev, Thanks! No, it doesn't handle multi-material prints at this time. I'll add it to the growing list of requests. Currently working on the UV Printer section now. :)
