maeil — Calendar invitations over text - Calendar invites by cell number

I built maeil after the third time I was introduced to someone, had their number, and watched a real meeting evaporate because I couldn't put it on a calendar right away without their email. It's a dumb structural gap that's sat in every calendar app for years (and most cell carriers have deprecated txt ics by now) — the guest field only speaks email. so the whole thing is one primitive: every phone number gets a maeil.cc address. you add @maeil.cc as a guest in Google, Apple, or Outlook, we deliver the invite by text, and on accept (they add it to their cal, and enter their email address) we route their RSVP + real email back to you — to your dashboard, and onto the event if you've connected your calendar. because it's a plain ICS guest address, it works in mostly any calendar or scheduler with no integration. the part I think this crowd will care most about: maeil is a live MCP server. point Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or VS Code at https://mcp.maeil.cc/mcp with a Bearer key and your agent gets send_calendar_invite + get_invite_status — so it can book a meeting from a bare phone number without leaving the chat and read or save the email back when they accept. there's a REST API too (POST /v1/invite, consent_attestation required).
