Why do AI-generated lyrics still sound so generic?

’ve been thinking a lot about this while building LyricCreator AI.

AI can generate technically good lyrics very quickly — but “technically good” isn’t the same as feeling like a real song.

A lot of AI lyrics still fall into the same patterns:

• predictable rhymes

• generic emotions

• repeated phrases

• lyrics that look good on paper but don’t actually sing well

For me, the interesting question isn’t:

“Can AI write lyrics?”

It’s:

“Can AI actually help a songwriter develop an idea without taking away the songwriter’s voice?”

That’s the problem I’m trying to explore with LyricCreator AI.
