Lyre - Agentic development from anywhere with remote previews
by•
Lyre lets you run AI agents, automate tasks, and manage projects across multiple clients, whether you're connected locally or remotely. Built for vibe coding, it supports local AI models, multi-account workflows, guided setup tutorials, and live app previews directly on your phone.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Jon, founder of Lyre, an AI workspace powered by your own computers.
While developing across Windows and Mac, I kept finding myself coordinating everything manually: telling each agent what to do, moving context between machines, and bringing the results together. Then I wanted to actually use the apps I was building from my phone.
I’m building Lyre to connect that workflow - from delegating work to testing, using, and sharing the result.
Here’s what you can do with Lyre:
🖥️ Put your computers to work together. Coordinate agents across connected computers, choose their workspaces and models, review assignments, and follow the resulting conversations.
📱 Use your running app from your phone. Open supported live app previews on paired devices, tap through the interface, and test changes while your computer runs the project.
🏠 Keep personal projects private. Connect directly over LAN and give someone app-only access to a specific project. Public hosting can be a decision you make when you need it.
🌐 Work beyond the chat. Let agents complete supported browser tasks, run project commands in terminals, and open remote desktop when you need access to your computer’s tools.
🧠 Choose your AI. Use supported providers and local models, manage multiple accounts, and enable eligible account fallback when limits interrupt your work.
🧩 Make the workflow yours. Connect MCP tools, use skills and CLI profiles, add trusted plugins, and try opt-in harness experiments.
🚀 Publish when you’re ready. Prepare supported publishing destinations, review the requirements, and explicitly start the release from your workspace.
🛠️ Power up your Studio with custom extensions. Connect Lyre with open-source tools and bring specialized workflows into your workspace. Use supported extensions or build your own to help agents tackle more kinds of projects, from software development to research and data work.
I'm aiming to work on the pain points that users have been commenting on with other similar applications, like having to many keys, not being able to change providers easily, no real way to test work (black box AI). I would appreciate the support.
I’d love to hear where this would fit into your workflow. Would you start with coordinating your computers, automating a browser task, or using a personal app from your phone?
Try it at lyrestudio.net. I’m here for questions, feedback, and honest reports of what breaks. 👋
We're live on Android Play Store for users to try out, currently in Review on the Apple Play Store! However, for users who want to try it out and don't want to wait, use app.lyrestudio.net to connect to your host and develop from anywhere!
