Lynklens: AI-powered link management with built-in link safety, URL shortener & dynamic QR codes. 👋

by

Hey Product Hunt community 👋

We've been building Lynklens, and we're getting close to launching here, wanted to open this thread early to share where we're headed and get your feedback before we go live.

The problem we're solving:
Fake and spoofed links are everywhere, fake Amazon pages, phishing checkout links, sketchy "you won a prize" DMs. Most people have no way to know a link is bad until it's too late. At the same time, link-in-bio tools are still mostly cosmetic, a list of links with a theme, nothing more.

What Lynklens does (web platform, ):

  • AI-powered link-in-bio: smart, customizable pages that go beyond static lists

  • Link Safety: flags suspicious or spoofed links (fake Amazon pages, phishing attempts, etc.) before you click through

  • URL Shortener: clean, branded short links

  • Dynamic QR Codes: QR codes you can update after printing, so the destination stays current without reprinting

Browser extension:
To make Link Safety easy to use day-to-day, we also built a browser extension, so you get real-time link checks on any link you interact with, without needing to go back to the Lynklens site every time. It's customizable too, so you can set how it reacts to risk.

Before we launch, would love to hear from this community:

  1. Have you or someone you know clicked a fake/spoofed link recently (Amazon, checkout, DMs)? What happened?

  2. For a link-in-bio tool, what's missing from the ones you use today?

  3. For the extension, what would make you actually keep it installed long-term?

Would really value your thoughts before we go live, thanks in advance 🙏
