Hey Product Hunt! I’m the founder of Lumina AI Wellness. I started building Lumina after experiencing severe eye pain, fatigue, and declining mental well-being at work. Like many of us, I was spending more than eight hours a day in front of a laptop and my body was paying the price. When I began researching the problem, I discovered that an estimated 70–80% of knowledge workers experience symptoms associated with computer vision syndrome. Eye strain, musculoskeletal disorder and constant stress are becoming part of our life. Some people are even developing serious spinal and disc problems much earlier in life. These issues build gradually, making them easy to ignore until they begin affecting how we feel, think, and work. That led me to a simple question: What if your computer could look out for you while you work? Lumina acts like a quiet wellness companion—the kind that gently reminds you to take care of yourself. It monitors signs of eye strain, poor posture, and stress, then lets you know when something needs your attention, helping you make small corrections before discomfort becomes something more serious. Privacy was non-negotiable from day one. All processing happens on your device. We have trained on-device computer vision models that extract key biomarkers that are converted to scores. We further use on-device LLM that generates your report based on your daily scores. Hence, you can turn off your internet connection and Lumina will continue working (try it :)). We’re still learning, improving, and listening closely to the people using it. If you try Lumina, I’d genuinely love to hear what feels useful, what doesn’t, and what you think we should build next. And I’m especially curious: What’s one thing you wish your computer understood about you while you work? Thank you for checking out Lumina and for supporting us today.
