Lua - No-code token minter for Polygon

by
Create a token in under 1 minute and pay <$0.1 in gas fees. Zero coding required. Lua runs on Polygon, the scalability solution for Ethereum.

Use it to mint any token on Polygon and Ethereum—for your community, your project or protocol, or just for fun!

I would consider changing the name, pretty confusing with a programming language of the same name around?
I hear you -- it might be a bit confusing, but I was personally a fan of the name and domain so let's see how it's received. At your suggestion, I did change the name of the post :)
I came here to say the same :)
got it, thank you for the feedback! will look into alternative names. Feel free to suggest any 😃
Funny! I just started a web3 project and loved the name Lua too! I decided to add "base" to help differentiate from the language.
very clever! Thanks for sharing :)
Happy holidays, PH! 🌕 I built Lua for 2 main reasons: Minting a token is basically the "hello world" of crypto, but most people and projects still do this by hand, deploying a smart contract manually. It's a repetitive workflow that can be even faster (and MUCH cheaper thanks to Polygon). The other reason is to test out the developer experience with Polygon, a major Ethereum scalability solution. I found it to be very smooth and similar to developing on Ethereum itself. Lua is still a work in progress, but in the spirit of getting feedback quickly, it is ready for early users. Use it to mint any token—for your community, your project or protocol, or just for fun! Please submit any questions, bugs, or feature requests here or to 🙏🏼 It's also my birthday, so I thought it'd be fitting to mark it with something I'll remember. Happy New Year! 🎉
"Minting a token is basically the "hello world" of crypto" -> I learned something new today :D Thanks for this launch, upvoted!
thank you for the support 🙂
An intersection of no code & web3, really impressive! Congrats :)
thank you! :)
love to see no-code coming to web3, excited to try
thank you Luke! Please let me know what you think :)
This looks like a great step forward to bring no code to blockchain, congrats!
thank you for the support! Please let me know if you or folks you know might have relevant use cases :)
Hi Julia, sounds cool! I tried to mint a new token but it doesnt seem to be doing anything when I click connect to polygon. Any tips?
that's odd -- are you currently connected to ethereum via metamask? perhaps try manually switching to the polygon network
Faced the same issue, worked after reading through the comments. Thanks, this is awesome!
what did you think of the experience? And would you mind sharing more about your use case? Thank you! And did it work for you? Let me know if I can help troubleshoot further!
Its just the perfect product for early stage startups and newbies. I intend to use it to create a utility token for one of my products. WAs reading through so much complex material about how to create a token. Then you came along as a saviour, kudos to you!
I'm super glad to hear that! I'd love to learn more about your use case, requests/feedback on the experience and how we can further support you :)
Wow this is so cool!!
thank you! 🙏🏼
LFG!!! This is incredible Julia, congrats on shipping (esp. during the holidays)! Gonna be using this to mint tokens on Polygon for all my future projects! 🤩
you're the GOAT, thank you! Let me know any feedback if you do try it :)
this is awesome! amazing job :) 💥 🥳
really appreciate all your support and advice over the last few months!
Did you add these codes to the purchase? 1.Burnable Your Token can be burnt. 2. Remove Copyright Remove the link pointing to this page from your 3.Mintable You will be able to generate tokens by minting them.
thanks for the comment! I'll reply to you via email to get a better sense of what you're looking for
