Lockby - Lock your browser to only the sites you need

by
Every site blocker makes you maintain a list of "bad" sites. That list never ends. Lockby flips the model. Pick the 1-3 domains you need for your current task, set a timer, and everything else disappears. Non-whitelisted tabs get killed before the page loads. No loopholes. Want to quit early? You have to type a full sentence and wait 5 seconds. It's a speed bump between impulse and action. Built for ADHD brains and chronic tab-openers Works on Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc.

Hey Product Hunt -- I'm the maker of Lockby. I have ADHD, and I've tried every focus tool out there. They all work the same way: block the "bad" sites. But the internet is infinite. There's always another rabbit hole, and the blocklist never ends. So I flipped the approach. Instead of blocking what's bad, Lockby locks the browser to only what you need right now. Pick your domains, set a timer, everything else is gone. A few things that were important to me when building this: - Privacy-first -- all session data stays in the browser. No URLs ever leave your machine. - Free is real -- 3 sessions per day, up to 45 min, no account required, no credit card. - Intentional friction -- quitting a session requires typing a sentence and waiting 5 seconds. It's a small speed bump that stops impulse from winning. I'd love to hear your feedback -- what would make this more useful for you?
